Young Inventors Consult - Business Management Consultancy , Export & imp Ghana and Africa
 
HISTORY
Young Inventors Consult was established in 20 February 1999 in Nkawkaw to respond to the needs of Youth Development  in Ghana.
Through out the last decades governments has neglected Youth Development in Ghana and its communities, which has resulted in Teenage pregnancy, Arm robbery, Smoking, street children, Youth unemployment, Aged discrimination, and Neglect in society.
This prompted the Young Inventors Consult formally Youth Development Foundation International to respond to the needs of the Youth and Aged in societies.
  
ACHIEVEMENT
   Young Inventors Consult has been able to achieve the following operating currently in three regions in Ghana with total members of 600.
 Each group is managed by group Executive whiles at the level YII seven staff members (2 Volunteers) act essentially as facilitators while managing the administration of YII projects.
     Through the assistance of international NGOs and other Agencies Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA)Young Inventors International(YII), Paniik Enterprise, Youth Build, YDFI has achieved the following
     Received, managed and disbursed the total sum of approx. $ 7,000) effectively for the delivery of Youth leadership Training Programs, Community Empowerment Projects.
     Over 50 Youth have received various skills base training to undertake income-earning activities such as tie and die making. This has increased their level of self-sufficiency and has raised their self-esteem.
     Nearly 200 Aged and Youth have benefited from sensitization and Educational programmes on Youth unemployment and basic principles of human rights, as a result some Youth are resisting the practices, which force them to travel to the capitals for a job.
     Young Inventors Consult activities has basically centered on Community based initiatives Some of the initiatives include sensitization programmes in the community particularly on HIV and other AIDS related issues, and matters concerning family planning and basic health care needs.
    Young Inventors Consulthas been able to create awareness among the Aged and the youth concerning the general problems affecting Youth and Aged development. Some of the neglected youth are enabled to gain extra curricular activities through free Voluntary service learning.
Creating awareness about some of the negative cultural practices which affect their very lives, for example providing legal right education that enhances the fight against some negative practices such us smoking, drug Abuse.
 
LEGAL STATUS
 
This organisation was founded in the year 1999 and was registered under the companies’ codes  by the two ambitious Youth whose main aim was to improve the lots of fellow Youth and Aged across Ghana.
 
The organization was registered under the Register Generals Department in accordance with section 197 of the Ghana companies code with registration number (G11’537) in 2003 and Department of social welfare with registration number (1837) a Member of Ghana Association of Private Volunteer Organization Development (GAPVOD) and National Youth Council (NYC) World Association of Non-governmental Organization (WANGO), Association of Volunteer Administrators, NW Service- USA.
 
VISION STATEMENT
YIC Ghana Vision is to develop the Youth and the Aged in continuous workplace learning in a teamwork environment, each Youth develops personal and technical skills to make a significant career contribution to firm and agencies that compete in a knowledge-base global economy.
 
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to creating a renewing employment and business opportunities and truly realize sustainable development through youth development and Aged welfare in Ghana.
  PROJECTS 
The main development objective of this organization is to contribute to youth empowerment and employment with in the overall framework of Community Development projects. 
The work of Young Inventors Consult Ghana, specialize in contributing to youth empowerment and to their full participation in Local Regional and National economic and political decisions and processes that affect youth and their families.    
 
SERVICE-LEARNING VOLUNTEER TEACHING
YIC Ghana in collaboration with Selected number of Schools both high and Basic schools to accept Volunteers from anywhere in the world to teach.
As a way of improving Youth education in Ghana and learn different culture from all dives ways
 
 
This project accepts both teachers and Non- teachers who are ready to help improve Youth education and help facilitate the living stand of youth in Ghana.
 
We welcome all young and old to Volunteer and make friends in Ghanaian hospitality, learn different culture and help alleviate poverty and hardship from the Youth and School dropouts.

COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT PROJECT USING SOAP PRODUCTION
 
Just like the rest of the population, most Aged people want to enjoy good health and remains independence; many Aged people rely on health and social care support.
The Aged Welfare project provide a trade and training with the opportunity to improve the quality of life for the Aged by providing support, which enable individuals to have greater living standard and control making choice about their life. This project is sponsored by: JAPAN INTERNATIONAL CO-OPERATION AGENCY (JICA). Through it community empowerment programme.

YOUTH EMPLOYMENT STRATEGY PROJECT
 
The Youth Employment Strategy is the Young Inventors Consult commitment to help young people, particularly those facing barriers to employment get the imformation and gain skills, work experience and abilities they need to make a successful transition to the work place.
 
Available figures and imformation indicates that majority of Ghanaians live below the poverty level.
This problem has been worsened by the non Existence of needed resources for people who even have the skills and potentials to work to improve upon their living condition.
 
Career focus provide post- secondary graduates with career related work opportunities in Ghana and abroad to assist them acquire advance skills and become leaders in their field.
 
   It is also undenieable fact that Ghana has about 45% of its population bieng youth, however policies in the Country has little or no provision for the youth and this has then compounded the global
problem of employment in the country resulting in the increase spate of social vices and frustration in the majority of the youth and making life unbearable for the youth especially for those in the rural and deprived communities in Ghana.
 
In addition, many talented youth who have the zeal and potential to get themselves employed and also saddled with the problem of lack resourse which has push many of them to severe poverty gap making living regretful for them and their dependence.
 
Young Inventors Consult which have the aim of improving their living standard  of the youth especially which interns result in the sustainable development has put many structures in place to enable the youth gain a better employment.We have been far of many projects in this direction
 
This project is therefore to assist the youth with post-secondary school graduates who have realize their own goal to have a career and skill-link when they are confronted with the problem of employment.
     This projects involves career focus,skill-link and summer work experience.
 
 YOUTH FOR SUSTAINABLE FUTURE ( HAG)
Over the past several years, the HIV/AIDS pandemic has been recognized as being more than simple a health issue. HIV/AIDS impact every sector of life including sports or games.
In the high prevalence in Ghana, the sports sector has been rejected for far too long.
 
This project provides information and materials to elaborate sports fans, sportsmen and women in-depth knowledge and preventive measures of deadly AIDS.
Young Inventors Consult in collaboration with Youth organizations and other CBOs nation wide want to provide further education and materials to sports fans as a means of upgrading their knowledge base on the deadly disease AIDS.
 
The sports fans and the peer groups are  more exposed to the HIV/AIDS epidemic.Their traits to some extend at which their rights are protected and the pieces of information they receive can assist in determining the quality of millions of life of sports fans.
 
The sports fans especially youth are at the center of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The extent to which their right are protected, and the services and information they receive can help determine the quality of life of millions of people.
 
Youth are greater susceptible to HIV/AIDS infection and they  also have the duty of caring for family members living with HIV/AIDS.around the globe, AIDS is shattering young ones  opportunities for healthy adult lives.But nevertheless, it is young people who offer the greatest hope for changing the course of the epidemic. It is in this light that we have put  this project  to intervien  with sports fans who are mostly Youth between 15 and 45 years.
